PLEASE NOTE that I am not checking Zaadz much these days because of my daughter’s health issues and hospitalizations…please be patient with me if I don't respond to your messages for a while! 

I have been learning about, practicing, and sharing breathwork, rebirthing, and stress reduction techniques for about 13 years now. I am blessed to serve others, assisting them in reducing their stress levels, working through emotional trauma, and developing a deeper sense of love, freedom and spiritual connection. I truly believe in the power of thought and in creative manifestation, although am sometimes challenged to keep the faith and remain positive in the appearance of negative circumstances!

The only physical experience I have had of connection with Spirit/Higher Power/God/Source was while doing breathwork. It connects one to the Universal Life Force by breathing in more of life, feeling the atoms that make up your body speed up and become alive like they are supposed to be! It's a true awakening! Unfortunately most of us have closed down our bodies and our breathing so much because of years of trauma, emotional suppression, and improper breathing, that this process of awakening can feel very frightening, very out of control. When that fear and trauma is cleared (thus the “rebirthing”), then we will feel connected physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and psychically with the Universal Life Force. It's totally amazing and wonderful! The first time I felt this, I felt totally high for quite a while and then I felt so very deeply sad that I had deprived myself of this for so many years of life…I mourned the loss of this lifeforce, of the connection, from so many years of loneliness and isolation. But once you experience this connection and love, there's no going back!!

I found the Religious Science Church and Science of Mind (magazine) in about 1990 (their mantra is “Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life!”) and have worked with positive thinking since then, especially using affirmations. I am very interested in “New Thought” principles, such as demonstrated in “What the Bleep” and Dyer's “Power of Intention.”

I'm a new mom and have a beautiful daughter. My life partner/best friend/Soulmate and I have been together for 8 wonderful years. Although I currently live in the Midwest, my heart is in the Southwest. I grew up in Southern Colorado and have lived in Northern Colorado as well as Northern Arizona. I love the area…the sunshine, the Rocky Mountains, hiking/walking in the outdoors, nature, and the roots of the land there. I grew up on a farm and love my little piece of wooded land in the suburbs with all our squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, frogs, ducks, and even turtles. We spotted one deer last summer but seems an isolated event, darnit! (See my photo gallery if you want to see her/him.) We have a garden every summer, and have lots of perennials on our land, which I do have to say that the Midwest has over much of the Southwest-lush green land.

In my “other life” (as in my day job), I help people start businesses, write business plans, and build their business. It's a non-profit org., otherwise I might be able to make a lot of money at it! (trying to be funny here) My intention is to build my Breathwork, Rebirthing, & Stress Reduction practice to support me at least part-time. I feel right with the world when I do this work, and know that it is what I am meant to do, what my talent is, what my purpose is. I just get sidetracked by the need to make consistent money to pay the bills, though!
